Here are a few of Ken's actual divinations, tarot readings, etc., with any needed follow-up actions to follow.

A DIRE READING

6/28/05: A journey to investigate a dire reading I got divining for a client I was divining using the 5-Coin technique to see if anything more was to be known concerning his condition and fate. I again held the coins over the Sacred Flame to heat them with the power of the Gol, so their reading would be accurate. I got the following coin reading: two heads, two tails, 1 head. This is what the Chosen by the Spirits book says on this reading:

"This is a fearful omen. Possessions or money will be lost. An old lover or relative will become an enemy. Business will decline. Querent will become sick suddenly. Querent will lose lawsuit. No profit. Have Shaman do serjim for protection and restoration of luck before it is too late! "

Needless to say, I was quite surprised and impressed. So, even though I had finished up my journey work for the afternoon, or so I thought, I immediately picked up the drum and went back in. As I entered the Spirit World, I was standing near a forest learing, watching a large black shape struggling to lift itself out of some sort of bog on the ground. Crosses in Front (my Lower World Guide) was by my side. Arms and upper torso flailing, the being finally broke free of the ground and the three of us were off. We were suddenly floating high over my client's hometown, with the being floating before us as a small square of colored light, tumbling and translucent. It then dove down into my client's Home, right into his bedroom.

The Being had resumed its black, human shape and was throwing huge blobs of dark blood and other fluids against the walls, ceilings...everywhere. The room was quickly filling with blackness as these fluids accumulated, and Crosses and I were helpless to stop it. We therefore went outside, and looked back at the bedroom window, which was now emitting no light whatsoever. After a few seconds of thought, I then called in all the Spirit Helpers available: Two Feathers, Gray Wolf, Eagle Claw, Utawa, Blade of Grass, and Pink Swan came. Crosses was already there. We joined hands and formed a circle of shamans. We began circling round the house, and soon became a solid hoop of rainbow-colored Spirit Energy. We began closing in on the being. I could see it gnashing and slashing at us through the walls of the hoop. Suddenly, it zoomed feet-first into my mirror. Only its upper torso was still free. It struggled and struggled, but was soon sucked in totally.

Then, some of the other shamans began firing fluids at the mirror surface to placate the being. This was a cold "serjim" (a Mongolian healing potion), and they used vodka and milk. Soon, the mirror surface snapped back into its original color and coolness...the chotgor (dark being) was sealed in. We went back into my client's room. He lay there looking relieved, even smiling. I then went over to him and sprinkled salt around him. I took my crystal wand and cleansed his chakras, the lower ones being almost entirely blocked. I then touched the crystal point to the floor, and it sparked over and over as the blocking energy flowed back to Mother Earth. I noticed then that his Ami soul was lodged into a tiny sphere of stars...it was no longer in his body. I was told I was not able to dislodge it...it was out for good.

A Spirit awaiting my client's transition then came to me. She told me not to worry, that my client will be very happy when he moves into the Spirit World. I then asked her if he would be going on his annual trip with us. She said he might, he wanted to, but probably would not have the strength. She told me the aura cleansing I did will allow "mana" to flow into him freely now, and he should gain some strength back. I then asked how long he would live. Nothing is certain, she said, but if all went well and he did all the right things, Aug 4 of 2006 is the latest he could pass. We then left. We reconvened on the mirror, and I asked my shaman helpers what the force was that had invaded. It was indeed a chotgor, they said, and implied it was a random attack of a misplaced, angry soul. Upon my return from spirit, I placed the mirror face down on the rug to allow the chotgor to flow back into Mother Earth for proper handling.

A TYPICAL TAROT READING

4/9/09

Here is the reading I got on behalf of a client, concerning the energies surrounding her relationship life. I used the Celtic tarot, and in particular the Weaver Celtic Cross Spread. The Intent of each of the 6 cards is shown in parentheses after the card number. After that comes the actual card picked, followed by the interpretation. I infused the cards with my client's energic essence prior to picking them on her behalf. I do this by holding the cards over the lit candle and imagining the heat is the client's essence. The reading follows:

Card 1 (Yourself Now) : JUDGMENT OF BATTLE (reversed) Renewed activity. Careful progress, circumspect resumption. Delay. Testing renewed strength or neglected abilities. Achievement or great exertion is usually followed by rest. Are you allowing space in your aife for that?

Card 2 (Basis of the Situation): FOUNDATION OF BATTLE A journey. Rite of passage. Moving on from unproductive areas. Changing atttitudes. Successful transition. What opportunities or initiations await you? Face them head on!

Card 3 (What hinders/challenges now): COURTSHIP OF ART Happy outcome. Celebration of alliances. Recovery from illness. Healing. Merriment. Solace. Satisfaction. Good fortune. Hospitality. Satisfactory resolution. What stands in the way of a good outcome for you now? Don't do things you will later come to regret.

Card 4 (What helps/supports now): WARRIOR OF SKILL (reversed) A person at odds with the world. Someone who is selfish, jealous, domineering, possibly violent. Sudden breakdown of relationship. Disruption. Unstable circumstances. How do the difficulties facing you now provoke your passion and creativity?

Card 5 (Overriding consideration, required new focus): DIALOGUE OF ART Reciprocity of affection in love, friendship or partnership. Engagement, marriage, contractual partnership. Passion. Sharing. Pledges and promises. Balance and harmony. What is the basis of trust in your current situation?

Card 6 (Old focus to be left behind): THE CHALLENGER Fear. Bondage. Extreme challenge. Misery. Obsession. Resentment. Role-playing for effect. Dependence. Manipulation. Humorlessness. Self-sabotage. Inability to realize goals. How are you limiting yourself?

Summation. Card 1 shows my client to be ready to move back out into her relationship life after a period of rest. Card 2 shows that at the core of her issue stands needed transition, a moving on, Change. Cards 3 and 4 at first seem reversed: positive things are the hindrance, negative things are the helpers...but therein lies the great power of this reading. The hindrance to advancement is actually happiness with the way things currently are, even if this happiness is not apparent. The spurring to advancement involves recognizing and leaving behind the "person who is at odds with the world", allowing my client to grow into a "new you". Card 5 reveals the new focus needs to be on a true partnership with mutual affection based in truth and love... Card 6 reveals the old focus to be left behind involves all those negative emotions such as fear, misery...and implies a lack of honesty in prior behavior, and even a (no-doubt inadvertent) self-sabotage.
