How a typical session with Ken might transpire.

First, obviously, you have contacted us. You either heard of Ken through word of mouth, or through other web presences. In a typical request, the client defines their problem with specifics (I have a condition) or with feelings (I just feel something is wrong). What follows below is just a formal layout of a possible session. Ken might go for a journey immediately, based on your description of your problem. You do NOt have to be present for this work to be done.

Having the client's permission to proceed, Ken then might perform one of the Mongolian coin oracles, a Tarot, or an I Ching...and let the spirits guide him as to which one through the use of his pendulum to get yes/no answers. These divinations could reveal the extent to which there is a problem in the client's life/spirit energy field.

In some cases, the client gets an immediate "clean bill of health". In rare cases, Ken gets the opposite extreme: the client is in "grave danger", requiring immediate Intervention. Mostly, though, the reading places the client somewhere in the middle. From there, Ken proceeds to the next step.

Using his pendulum once again, Ken asks the spirits if the client needs a shamanic journey, undertaken by him, to the spirit world. In such a journey, he first wraps himself in sacred space for protection, then use drumming to lower his brainwave state to the alpha/theta "journey level"...the level of consciousness between being awake and fully asleep.

Ken typically remains there for 10-20 minutes while he visits the spirit world. There, he witnesses images and events, all of which are vital for the client to know of. When he comes back, he records these details as accurately as possible. As soon as possible, he types the results formally and presents them to the client.

Ken tries not to interpret the results at first...these were telegraphed THROUGH him to the client, and he prefers them to have first go at interpretation. He explains that many of the details may be metaphorical versus literal, so the client may have to dig for a few days. Once the client writes back, Ken answers questions and provides his take on some of the imagery, if the client has gotten stuck.

In cases where a journey is not recommended, Ken asks if he should do a sabian oracle. This is a much fuller, more detailed result than the Mongolian coin divination "quick check". If allowed to do so, he will traditionally sum up the results and send them to the client.

If the client visits Ken in person, he can also visually check their enteric energy field for obvious enery intrusions, which appear as dark "blobs" or "spears", that is, holes in an otherwise bright energy field surrounding their body. Where the darkness is indicates where there is a problem.

If an oracle is not recommended, then Ken assumes whatever is happening with the client is currently in total keeping with their spirit path at the time of our work together...or, Ken is not in the right spiritual frame to perform the work at that instant. He advises the client that he will check again in a few days to see if the various permissions will be granted at this later time.

Another possibility is the retrieval of the client's Power "Animal" from the Lower World, the place of empowerment. The latter is a spirit (think "guardian angel") assigned to each of us at birth, that takes the form of an animal (or bird, or reptile) in order for us to readily see what "powers" it is bringing to us.

Turtles have certain traits, rabbits have others, ants others, etc. These powers fill the weak bits or "power holes" in us, making us whole. Ken usually asks the client versus the helpers if he should perform this journey, as it is inconceivable that knowing one's Power Animal would be denied. Again he offers a full, typed explanation of both the journey and the meaning of the animal(s) encountered within it.

Whatever the results of his various requests, Ken is aways ready to converse with the client in great depth, and answer questions about the spirit world and how it manifests various conditions of our physical existence. In many Cases, it is the thought and belief structural conditioning of the client that is a prime source of their troubles, and Ken explains how this all works.

Once the client is fully satisfied with my work and explanations, Ken typically does not write or call again. Shamans typically do not like to interfere with people on their sacred paths, even their healing paths.

So once you stop writing to Ken, he will seldom write back at constant intervals to check up on you. He feels if there is still something amiss, you will write back to him about it. Please do not take his silence as his no longer caring about you.

Ken will keep you in daily prayers, and ask that your healing be complete. But he does not feel he should be badgering you about it.

Also, having worked with Ken, you may decide to contact other healers for a different experience, perhpas even to find someone with whom you can relate more. Ken finds this totally acceptable and am not in the slightest put off if you feel this way. You are in control of your own path, and he highly encourages you to do whatever it takes to reach wholeness, with or without him.
